Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Mumbai.

The Business Development

Manager will identify and cultivate new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and promote logistics and supply chain solutions that meet customer needs. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating contracts in line with company policies. The role also involves monitoring market trends, collaborating with operations and finance teams to ensure service delivery, tracking sales performance,



and providing regular reports and forecasts to leadership.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability in business development, sales, or account management within logistics, supply chain, or related industries.
- Strong skills in client relationship management, stakeholder communication, and negotiation to support long-term partnerships.
- Experience in market research, lead generation, and pipeline management using CRM or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain processes, with the capacity to translate client needs into solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and proposal-writing abilities.
- Proven organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a similar role in the logistics sector is preferred; familiarity with local and international trade practices is beneficial.
