Business Development Executive – US Market Company: SquirrelView Location: Remote – India Employment Type: Full-Time Market: United States Experience: 3–7 Years Work Schedule: US Business Hours / Night Shift About SquirrelView SquirrelView is a technology-driven career and recruitment solutions company helping professionals navigate the US job market through job discovery, resume optimization, ATS-focused applications, and structured job-search support. We are expanding our US-market business development function and are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive who can identify opportunities, engage US-based decision-makers, acquire new clients, and build long-term commercial relationships.

Role Overview The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving US client acquisition, lead generation, partnerships, sales conversion, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in US B2B sales, IT staffing, recruitment, HR services, or related industries, along with strong knowledge of the US hiring ecosystem. This role requires an individual who is highly confident on US calls, comfortable with high-volume prospecting, skilled in objection handling and negotiation, and capable of taking opportunities from first contact through closure and account development.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute business development strategies for the US market.
- Identify, research, qualify, and engage potential US clients and strategic partners.
- Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, cold calling, email outreach, referrals, networking, and other prospecting channels.
- Conduct discovery calls with US prospects to understand their business and hiring requirements.
- Present SquirrelView's services and solutions clearly and professionally.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through negotiation, closing, and handover.
- Build relationships with HR leaders, recruiters, staffing firms, founders, hiring managers, and business owners.
- Identify client pain points and recommend appropriate SquirrelView solutions.
- Maintain an active and healthy sales pipeline.
- Consistently achieve agreed lead, meeting, conversion, and revenue targets.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and effectively manage long sales cycles.
- Handle objections and negotiate commercial terms to close opportunities.




- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reports, forecasts, and activity tracking.
- Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, renewals, and referrals.
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout the recruitment and placement lifecycle.
- Monitor US recruitment and job-market trends and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with recruitment, operations, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure successful client onboarding and service delivery. Required Skills & Experience

- 3–7 years of relevant experience in US B2B sales, business development, IT staffing, recruitment, HR services, RPO, career services, or related industries.
- Proven experience in US client acquisition and lead-to-client conversion.
- Hands-on experience with US IT staffing, recruitment, or staffing-agency business development.
- Robust understanding of the US recruitment, hiring, and staffing ecosystem.
- Good knowledge of US hiring practices, recruitment terminology, employment processes, and job-market trends.
- Strong understanding of US work authorization categories, including:
- OPT
- CPT
- STEM OPT
- H-1B
- H-1B Transfer
- EAD
- H-4 EAD
- Green Card
- US Citizen
- Experience working with OPT/CPT, H-1B, USC, GC, and EAD candidates is preferred.
- Strong understanding of US staffing models and terminology, including:
- W2
- C2C
- 1099
- Contract
- Contract-to-Hire
- Direct Hire
- Familiarity with US job portals and sourcing channels such as Dice, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, networking, and recruitment databases.
- Proven ability to perform high-volume US cold calling, prospecting, follow-ups, objection handling, and conversion.
- Strong ability to communicate with US recruiters, staffing firms, HR leaders, hiring managers, and business owners.
- Excellent spoken and written English with strong confidence in US client conversations.
- Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills.




- Experience using LinkedIn, CRM systems, sales prospecting platforms, and communication tools.
- Basic understanding of IT skill areas such as Java, .NET, Python, QA, DevOps, Cloud, Data Analytics, and related technologies.
- Comfortable using AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini for research, prospecting, sales communication, and business development.
- Willingness to work according to US business hours/night shifts.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, commercially driven, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced remote environment.

Compensation Competitive fixed salary + performance-based incentives, determined based on relevant experience, demonstrated US business development capability, client-acquisition track record, and revenue performance.

The right candidate should be comfortable picking up the phone, initiating conversations with US decision-makers, creating opportunities from cold prospects, handling objections, following up consistently, and ultimately turning prospects into paying clients.
