Role Description The Business Banking Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Patiala, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of business banking clients. The role involves acquiring new business customers, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and understanding their financing, cash management, and transactional banking needs.

The Relationship

Manager will recommend appropriate banking products and services, prepare and review credit proposals, coordinate underwriting processes, and ensure adherence to internal risk and compliance standards. Daily activities include monitoring portfolio performance, managing account profitability,



resolving client issues promptly, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless service. The role also requires regular market and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and support business growth in the region.

Qualifications

- Strong Business Relationship Management skills, with the ability to build, nurture, and expand long-term client relationships.
- Proficiency in Cash Management solutions, including payments, collections, and liquidity management for business customers.
- Experience in Portfolio Management, focusing on monitoring asset quality, profitability, and risk across business banking accounts.
- Solid foundation in Finance, including credit analysis, financial statement assessment, and understanding of business banking products.
- Knowledge of Underwriting practices, risk evaluation, and documentation standards for business loans and credit facilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; skilled banking or finance certifications are an advantage.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to present solutions clearly to business clients.
- Proven experience in business or commercial banking, preferably in managing MSME or corporate clients.
- Ability to work effectively on-site in Patiala, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and meet business and compliance targets.
