Role Description This is a contract, hybrid Business Consultant role based in Coimbatore, Nilgiris and Mysore with some flexibility for work from home.

The Business

Consultant will assess current disaster awareness and response programs, analyze operational processes, and recommend improvements to enhance effectiveness and impact. Day-to-day tasks include conducting stakeholder discussions, developing business and consulting frameworks, preparing reports and presentations, and supporting implementation of recommended strategies.



The role also involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners, monitoring outcomes of initiatives, and providing guidance on resource allocation and financial implications of proposed solutions. The consultant will help strengthen organizational capabilities in crisis management and community training.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating programs, interpreting data, and identifying actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Consulting and Management Consulting to design strategies, improve processes, and guide decision-making.
- Excellent Communication skills for engaging stakeholders, conducting workshops, and preparing clear reports and presentations.
- Foundational understanding of Finance to assess budgets, costs, and the financial impact of recommendations.
- Experience in risk management, disaster management, or safety-focused projects is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid workplace, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications in consulting or disaster management are an advantage.
