Position: Senior Process SME / Lead Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Process SME / Lead Business Analyst who can independently engage with business stakeholders, leverage strong domain and process expertise, and drive requirements, process transformation, and automation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will act as a process/domain subject matter expert and business analysis lead, partnering closely with business and technology teams to identify opportunities, define solutions, and translate business needs into actionable requirements. The role will have a strong focus on RPA and Agentic AI-led automation, process optimization, and delivery execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently lead discussions and workshops with business stakeholders to understand business processes, identify pain points, and elicit, analyze, and document requirements.
- Serve as a Process SME, providing deep understanding of business operations, workflows, controls, and process dependencies.
- Identify and assess opportunities for process improvement, RPA, intelligent automation, and Agentic AI solutions.
- Lead automation discovery and assessment initiatives, including evaluating feasibility, defining business cases, and supporting solution design.
- Translate business and process requirements into clear, structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
- Own and manage the product backlog and work closely with delivery teams on JIRA, sprint planning, prioritization, refinement, and execution.
- Collaborate with product, technology, automation, operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure proposed solutions meet business and operational requirements.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment and effectively communicate requirements, process changes,



solution options, risks, and dependencies.
- Support end-to-end delivery by clarifying requirements, resolving functional queries, validating solutions, and ensuring successful implementation.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and optimize processes while ensuring operational, compliance, and business objectives are met.
- Contribute to project planning, tracking, and stakeholder management as required.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

- 7+ years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Process Excellence, Process Consulting, or a similar role, with significant experience operating as a Process SME or Lead BA.
- Strong experience in stakeholder management, requirements elicitation, process analysis, and solutioning.
- Experience working on RPA, intelligent automation, GenAI/Agentic AI, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Agile methodologies, user stories, backlog management, and sprint ceremonies.
- Prior project management or project coordination experience is preferred.
- Good understanding of healthcare payer operations, with exposure to areas such as:

- Utilization Management

- Enrollment

- Claims Administration

- Member/Provider Operations

- Other healthcare payer processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, influence stakeholders, and drive initiatives from discovery through implementation.

What We Are Looking For The successful candidate will be someone who combines robust process/domain expertise with business analysis and transformation capabilities. This is not a traditional requirements-focused Senior BA role; the position requires an individual who can own business discussions, identify transformation opportunities, shape automation solutions, and work closely with delivery teams to drive outcomes.
