Hiring Broadcast Operator & Sports Analyst
Location: Embassy Tech Square, ORR, Bangalore
Experience: 4–5 years
Employment Type: Full-time
About StanceBeam
StanceBeam is a Bengaluru-based sports technology company working at the intersection of smart sensors, motion analytics and AI-driven insight for cricket and other sports. Since 2017, our technology has been deployed across India, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the UK and the US, and our work has been recognised through the KPMG Game Changers Award and the Karnataka Government's Elevate100 programme.
Our broadcast and match technology line of service extends that work into live production — bringing real-time data, analytics and decision technology into the way games are produced, officiated and watched.
About the Role
This is a role for someone who wants to be close to the action and equally close to the product.
You will own how our technology performs in live broadcast environments, on site at matches, working alongside production crews and match officials and you will bring that ground truth straight back into the product. What works, what breaks, what production teams actually need: you will be the person who knows, and the person whose input shapes what we build next.
The role is built to grow. As the line of service expands across venues, events and partners, the operating standards, training and quality benchmarks for on-ground delivery become yours to define, and you will build and lead the team that runs to them — while your own focus moves further into product.
What You'll Do
Live operations
- Set up, run and support StanceBeam technology at live matches and events, in real broadcast conditions
- Work alongside broadcast production, host teams and match officials to deliver reliably on match day
- Own on-site readiness end to end - equipment, calibration, pre-match checks,
contingency planning so delivery is predictable rather than heroic
- Provide explicit post-event reporting on performance, incidents and improvements
Product
- Translate real match-day and broadcast workflows into clear product requirements, working closely with our product and engineering teams
- Be the bridge between engineering and the realities of live production, what breaks, what's slow, and what production teams genuinely need
- Run structured pilots and testing of new features and hardware, and feed clear, actionable input into the product roadmap
- Contribute to how the product evolves as a whole, not only to the operational layer of it
Operating standards and team
- Build the SOPs, training curriculum and certification standards for on-ground delivery
- Help recruit, train and assess operators and partner crews as coverage scales
- Progressively own the quality and consistency of delivery across the team, moving from doing the work to setting the standard for how it is done
Who We're Looking For
- 4–5 years of experience in sports broadcasting as an operator, engineer or similar on-ground technical role (cricket broadcast experience is a strong plus)
- Comfortable in live, time-critical environments where things have to work first time
- Technically hands-on and confident with hardware, software and troubleshooting under pressure
- Strong communicator, able to work credibly with production crews, officials and engineers alike
- Structured thinker who naturally documents, standardises and improves how things are done
- Interested in growing beyond operations into product and team leadership
- Willing to travel during match seasons
Why This Role
You will work at the point where live sport, broadcast production and technology meet — with direct influence on a product that goes out in front of a live audience, and a transparent path into building the standards and the team behind it.
