Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Boiler Operator role based at Aldovia Resort & Convention in Bengaluru.

The Boiler

Operator will oversee the safe and efficient operation of boilers and related heating systems across the property, ensuring consistent steam and hot water supply for guest rooms, event spaces, kitchens, laundry, and spa facilities.

Responsibilities include routine monitoring of system parameters, performing operational checks, recording readings, and responding promptly to alarms or performance issues. The role involves conducting preventive and minor corrective maintenance, coordinating with maintenance and engineering teams for major repairs, and adhering to safety, environmental,



and energy efficiency standards.

The Boiler

Operator will also assist with shutdowns and startups during events or seasonal changes, support compliance with regulatory requirements, and contribute to maintaining a comfortable and reliable environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, including robust Blueprint Reading skills.
- Proficiency in Welding techniques relevant to boiler and piping work, such as TIG Welding and Oxy-acetylene operations.
- Experience in Metal Fabrication for repair, modification, or installation of boiler components, supports, and related structures.
- Previous experience operating industrial boilers or central plant equipment in hospitality, industrial, or commercial facilities.
- Knowledge of boiler safety standards, pressure vessel regulations, and best practices in preventive maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and readiness to respond to emergencies or equipment faults.
- Basic understanding of water treatment, fuel systems, and energy conservation practices is an advantage.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in mechanical, thermal, or industrial engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional maintenance and operations teams.
