Role Description The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the campus bar, ensuring a secure, professional, and welcoming environment for all patrons. This full-time, on-site role in Chennai includes managing inventory, supervising staff, coordinating schedules, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulation.

The Bar

Manager will monitor service quality, handle customer concerns, and support training to ensure consistent standards. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with suppliers, and maintaining accurate records and reports for management.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
- Candidates should possess practical Food & Beverage experience, including product knowledge, hygiene standards,



and bar operations.
- Candidates should possess Training and team supervision skills to guide staff, support performance, and uphold service standards.
- Candidates should possess Sales and basic business awareness skills to manage promotions, upselling, and revenue tracking.
- Relevant experience in bar or restaurant management, including staff scheduling and inventory control.
- Ability to work flexible hours, maintain composure under pressure, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accountability for cash handling and reporting.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
