Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based at our café in Pune City. The Barista will prepare and serve a variety of coffee and other beverages using traditional brewing methods, while maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene. Day-to-day responsibilities include welcoming guests, taking orders, operating brewing equipment, handling food preparation for small bites or accompaniments, and ensuring a clean and organized service area.

The role also involves providing friendly and attentive customer service, answering questions about menu items,



managing cash or digital payments, and supporting the team during busy periods. The Barista will contribute to the warm, inclusive café environment by engaging with guests in a respectful and courteous manner.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service, Interpersonal Skills, and Communication abilities.
- Barista experience or training, with practical knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
- Food Preparation skills, with an understanding of basic kitchen safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Ability to work in office in Pune City, stand for extended periods, and handle peak-hour workloads calmly and efficiently.
- Reliability and punctuality, with a willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Basic numeracy for handling billing and payments; prior café or hospitality experience is an advantage.
- Commitment to maintaining an inclusive, respectful environment for guests and team members.
