About the Role

Paydoh is a digital banking and fintech platform focused on delivering innovative financial products and seamless digital banking experiences.

We are looking for an experienced Banking Integration & Partner Bank Stakeholder Manager to work full-time from our partner bank's premises in Chennai.

The candidate will act as the on-ground bridge between Paydoh and the partner bank, ensuring smooth coordination across technology, product, operations, business, compliance and support functions.

This is a high-ownership and execution-oriented role, not merely a coordination, reporting or tracker-management position. The candidate must actively drive stakeholders, dependencies and critical issues towards timely resolution and closure.

Key Responsibilities

1. Partner Bank Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary on-ground point of contact between Paydoh and the partner bank.
- Build robust working relationships with stakeholders across Technology, API/Integration, Product, Operations, Business, Compliance, Risk and Support.
- Understand the bank's internal processes, escalation hierarchy and decision-making structure.
- Ensure the right stakeholders are engaged quickly for each issue or dependency.
- Maintain effective communication between operational teams and senior management.

2. Banking Integration & Implementation

- Coordinate end-to-end banking and API integration activities.
- Drive requirements, API discussions, documentation, sandbox access, credentials, development, testing and production readiness.
- Coordinate with Paydoh's Product, Engineering, QA and Operations teams.
- Clearly document and track bank-side dependencies through closure.

Integration Lifecycle: Requirement → Discussion → Bank Approval → Development → Integration → SIT → UAT → Production Readiness → Go-Live

3. Critical Issue Resolution & Escalation

- Act as the first point of escalation for critical bank-related integration and operational issues.
- Identify issues that may impact development, testing, launch or production operations.
- Fast-track critical issues with the appropriate Paydoh and bank stakeholders.
- Ensure clear ownership, next actions and target resolution timelines.
- Drive issues until closure and escalate unresolved matters to senior management when required.
- Maintain an effective escalation process for P1/P2 and business-critical issues.

4. Testing, Go-Live & Post-Go-Live Support

- Coordinate SIT, UAT and production readiness activities.

- Ensure test environments, credentials, dependencies and API availability are addressed on time.
- Coordinate defect resolution and track UAT issues through closure.
- Support production deployment, go-live and post-launch stabilization.
- Establish a clear support and escalation mechanism between Paydoh and the partner bank.
- Coordinate production incidents and ensure they are routed to the appropriate teams.
- Track incidents against agreed SLAs and drive timely resolution.
- Identify recurring issues and support permanent resolution.
- Ensure smooth handover from project teams to BAU/support teams.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

Coordinate effectively with

Partner Bank Teams:

Technology, API/Integration, Product, Operations, Business, Compliance, Risk, Information Security, Support and Management.

Paydoh Teams:

Product, Engineering, QA, Technology, Operations, Business, Customer Support, Information Security and Management.

6. Governance & Tracking

- Maintain trackers for requirements, dependencies, owners, milestones, open issues, escalations, risks, SLAs and expected closure dates.
- Conduct regular stakeholder review meetings.
- Provide concise management updates on critical issues and dependencies.
- Proactively identify risks before they impact launch or production.
- Ensure agreed action items are followed through to closure.

Mandatory Candidate Requirements

Client-Side / Bank-Side Experience – Mandatory The candidate must have prior experience working directly on the client, bank or partner organization side, managing external technology partners, fintech companies, vendors or implementation teams.

Candidates with only internal project or technology coordination experience and no significant client-side stakeholder management exposure will not be preferred.

Banking / Fintech Experience

- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Banking, Fintech, Payments, Digital Banking or Banking Technology.

- Understand how banking organizations operate and how to navigate multiple departments.
- Know how to identify and escalate business-critical issues.
- Be comfortable interacting with technical teams as well as senior management.

What Success Looks Like Right Stakeholder → Right Issue → Right Escalation → Fast Action → Clear Ownership → Timely Resolution → Proper Closure

Success in this role means ensuring that Paydoh's integration, launch and post-go-live operations are not delayed due to bank-side coordination or communication gaps.

The successful candidate will proactively identify bottlenecks, fast-track critical issues, coordinate the appropriate stakeholders and ensure smooth collaboration between Paydoh and the partner bank.

Important Hiring Note: This role requires a strong, execution-oriented professional with proven client-side or bank-side stakeholder management experience. This is not a project coordinator or MIS/tracker-only role.
