We are looking for a Backend Engineer to develop and support backend APIs and services for an AI-driven Finance & Accounting platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop REST APIs and backend services using .NET Core and Python.
- Design and manage PostgreSQL databases, schemas, and queries.
- Build and support workflow orchestration and approval processes.
- Integrate APIs with AI/LLM-based services and enterprise applications.
- Implement authentication, authorization, RBAC, and tenant isolation.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor application performance, errors, and system observability.
- Collaborate with AI engineers, frontend teams, backend teams, and finance SMEs.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of backend development experience.
- Strong experience in .NET Core and Python.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
- Experience with REST API development and integration.
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, authentication, authorization, and RBAC.
- Experience with EKS/Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with Temporal.io.
- Valuable exposure to Azure services:
- Event Grid, Service Bus, Data Factory, Databricks, Logic Apps, Blob Storage.
Valuable to Have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of audit trails and compliance.
- Finance/Accounting domain knowledge.
- Understanding of finance KPIs such as STP Rate, First-Pass Match Rate, and Exception Aging.
