Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI) Administrator with expertise in hybrid cloud infrastructure, virtualization, Windows Server technologies, and Azure integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, administering, and optimizing Azure Local environments while ensuring high availability, security, performance, and operational excellence across hybrid infrastructure platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Deploy, configure, and administer Azure Local (formerly Azure Stack HCI) environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available Hyper-V clusters and virtualization platforms.
- Configure and manage Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) and software-defined infrastructure solutions.
- Integrate on-premises environments with Azure services using Azure Arc.
- Manage Windows Server environments, Failover Clustering, and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor system health, performance, and operational metrics using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and System Center tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and maintenance using PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and failover solutions.
- Troubleshoot compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and cluster-related issues.
- Perform capacity planning, patch management, lifecycle management, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Collaborate with cloud, security, networking, and application teams to support business-critical workloads.
- Ensure compliance with governance, security standards,



and organizational policies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and support teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

- 5-12 years of experience in Infrastructure Administration, Virtualization, and Hybrid Cloud Technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI).
- Expertise in:
- Windows Server
- Hyper-V
- Failover Clustering
- Storage Spaces Direct (S2D)
- Experience integrating hybrid environments using Azure Arc.
- Strong networking knowledge including:
- VLANs
- DNS
- DHCP
- Load Balancing
- SDN
- Network Security
- Experience deploying and managing hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Understanding of ARM Templates, Bicep, and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and System Center.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across compute, storage, networking, and virtualization domains.
- Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity solutions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Defender, Identity Management, and Security best practices.

Education
