Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Integration Platform Engineer to join our core delivery team full-time. You will be the hands-on technical owner of the Azure-native integration platform — building, maintaining, and evolving the infrastructure that enables autonomous, self-service integration delivery across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and operate Azure API Management (APIM) and Azure API Center as the central integration backbone.
- Build and maintain an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) with self-service golden-path templates and automated onboarding flows.
- Author and maintain reusable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules using Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Develop and own CI/CD pipeline templates (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions) that enforce security and quality gates at every stage.
- Implement and maintain Zero-Trust security architecture including OAuth2 / JWT enforcement and Azure Key Vault secrets management.




- Configure observability tooling — Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics — for end-to-end telemetry and distributed tracing.
- Collaborate with the API Governance Specialist to embed policy-as-code checks directly into pipelines.
- Support FinOps practices through cost monitoring dashboards and cloud resource optimisation.

Required Skills

- Between 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience with Azure integration services — APIM, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, Data Factory.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tooling — Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Strong CI/CD pipeline experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions. OAuth2 / JWT / Zero-Trust security implementation and enforcement experience.
- Experience building or contributing to an Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
- Familiarity with API linting tooling (e.g., Spectral) and automated quality gates.

Positive to Have

- Familiarity with Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, or Azure Data Factory for event-driven and ETL patterns.
- Exposure to MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and enterprise integration evaluation.
- Experience with BIAN domain modelling and financial services architecture standards.
- Knowledge of observability tooling — Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Log Analytics.
- FinTech, BankTech, or multilateral financial institution background.
