Several hundred hours a month currently go into work that should not need a person.
A leading European manufacturer is establishing its India shared-services centre and has partnered with Flexiple to hire the engineers who will automate the processes moving into it. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.
What you would actually be doing
Building automations across finance, procurement and supply-chain operations — real code against APIs where they exist, not recorded click-paths that break the next time a screen moves. Writing exception handling that routes to a person with enough context to act on it. And measuring hours genuinely saved, then retiring automations that have stopped earning their maintenance.
The judgement the role needs
Knowing when a process should be fixed rather than automated as it stands.
A bad process automated is a bad process that now runs faster and is harder to change. You would be trusted to say so, to process owners who have lived with the workaround for years and know every exception the documentation omits.
Background
- 3 to 7 years in process automation, RPA or backend scripting for operations
- Solid Python or C-sharp
- SAP or a comparable ERP in a live operational setting
- Document extraction or OCR experience helps for the invoice-heavy processes
Where Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Mumbai or Delhi NCR, or remote within India. An HR screen, a technical round, then a process walkthrough with an operations lead.
A single application covers this role and future automation openings at the centre.
