Job DescriptionPosition: Semi-Qualified CA – Statutory Audit / Internal Audit / vCFO & Accounting Location: Mumbai Experience: 0–3 years Employment Type: Full-time About the Role Ashish Shah & Associates is looking for Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountants to join our growing teams across Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, and vCFO / Accounting assignments. Important: Candidates must be strictly CA dropouts and should not be pursuing CA currently . Candidates who are planning to continue or complete their CA are not eligible. Key Responsibilities Statutory Audit Assist in planning and execution of statutory audit assignments. Perform audit procedures, vouching, verification and substantive testing. Review financial statements and supporting schedules. Assist in Ind AS / accounting-related matters. Prepare audit working papers and documentation. Internal Audit Execute internal audit assignments across various industries. Review business processes, internal controls and SOPs. Identify control gaps, risks and process improvement opportunities.



Perform reconciliations, analytical reviews and test checks. Assist in preparation of Internal Audit Reports. vCFO / Accounting Assist in bookkeeping and accounting activities. Preparation and review of financial statements. Bank, ledger and balance sheet reconciliations. MIS reporting and financial analysis. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. Support clients on accounting and finance-related requirements. Requirements Semi-Qualified CA – strictly CA dropout. Candidates should not be pursuing CA currently . Strong understanding of Accounting and Auditing concepts. Good knowledge of MS Excel. Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work on multiple client assignments. Candidates with prior experience in Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Accounting or vCFO services will be preferred.
