Role Description This full-time, on-site Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology role is based at Amity University in Ranchi.

The Associate

Professor will deliver high-quality classroom and clinical teaching in psychology, supervise student projects and dissertations, and mentor learners at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Daily responsibilities include designing and updating course curricula, preparing and delivering lectures, leading seminars and practical sessions, and providing academic advising. The role involves conducting independent and collaborative research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and contributing to funded projects in clinical psychology and related fields.

The Associate

Professor will also engage in departmental activities,



participate in academic committees, support accreditation efforts, and help build partnerships with clinical and community organizations.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Psychology and Clinical Psychology, with the ability to integrate theory, practice, and current evidence.
- Demonstrated experience in University Teaching and Teaching, including classroom instruction, supervision, and student mentoring.
- Proficiency in Curriculum Development for psychology and clinical training programs, aligning with academic and qualified standards.
- Proven Research experience, including designing studies, data analysis, publications, and participation in academic or clinical research projects.
- Relevant doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology or closely related field from a recognized university.
- Record of scholarly publications in reputable journals and presentations at academic or professional conferences.
- Familiarity with clinical assessment, intervention methods, and ethical guidelines in psychological practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to teach a diverse student body in an inclusive and supportive manner.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, contribute to departmental initiatives, and engage in community or industry outreach.
- Prior experience at Assistant/Associate Professor level and eligibility as per applicable regulatory and accreditation norms (e.g., UGC/RCI) is highly desirable.
