About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and customer-obsessed Associate Product Manager to join our Personal Loans team. This role sits at the heart of our lending business — you will own the end-to-end experience of integrating lending partners onto our platform, optimizing loan origination journeys, and building products that customers genuinely trust.

This is an early-career role open to fresh graduates and professionals with up to 2 years of experience. Prior lending knowledge is a plus, not a prerequisite — we will set you up for success.

What You Will Do

- Own end-to-end onboarding and integration of new lending partners onto our platform, working closely with engineering, operations, and business teams.
- Continuously audit and improve the loan application journey — from landing to disbursal — to reduce drop-offs and improve conversion.
- Identify friction points in the funnel using data and customer feedback, and work with engineering and design to ship fixes fast.
- Be the voice of the customer within the product team — regularly speak to customers, collect structured feedback, identify recurring pain points, escalations, and failure patterns and translate insights into actionable product improvements.
- Track customer trust metrics — NPS, repeat usage, complaint rates — and own initiatives that move these numbers.
- Act as a bridge between customer support and product — triage high-impact issues, prioritize fixes, and close the loop with affected users.

- Data-inclined — you are comfortable looking at dashboards, querying basic data, or working through a funnel analysis to find what is broken.
- Empathetic by default — you genuinely care about the experience of someone applying for a loan, often for the first time.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-moving environments — you do not wait for a perfect brief to start figuring things out.

Qualifications

- B.E / B.Tech from a recognized institute (final year students appearing for graduation in 2025 are welcome to apply).
- MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute is a plus, not mandatory.
- 0–2 years of experience in product management, business analysis, consulting, or customer-facing roles.
- Prior exposure to fintech, lending, or financial services is preferred but not required.

Skills & Tools

Must Have

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to break down problems and present structured solutions.
- Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and data tools (Excel, Google Sheets).
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams across engineering, design, ops, and compliance.
- Exposure to SQL or any data querying tool.

Good to Have

- Familiarity with product tools like Figma, JIRA, or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of APIs and how integrations work.
- Knowledge of how personal loan products, LOS, or credit underwriting works.
- Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude for productivity and quick prototyping.
