Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhilai for an Assistant Video Editor & Cinematographer/Filmmaker. The role involves assisting in pre-production planning, capturing high-quality video footage during shoots, and collaborating with the creative team to translate concepts into compelling visual stories. Daily responsibilities include organizing raw footage, editing video content for various digital formats,
applying basic color correction and grading, and integrating motion graphics or visual elements as needed.
The team member will support senior editors and directors, maintain project files and assets, ensure consistency with brand guidelines, and contribute creative ideas to enhance visual storytelling across client and internal projects.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Cinematography for planning, shooting, and managing visual content on set.
- Proficiency in Video Editing using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Ability in Video Color Grading and basic color correction to maintain visual consistency and mood.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, overlays, and visual elements.
- Understanding of digital content formats and social media video requirements (YouTube, Instagram, reels, shorts, etc.).
- Attention to detail, strong sense of timing and storytelling, and the ability to follow brand and project guidelines.
- Capacity to work on-site in Bhilai, collaborate with a cross-functional creative and tech team, and manage deadlines.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience; prior experience with CGI, VFX, or animation is a plus.
