Role Description The Assistant Retail Trainer is a full-time, in office role based in Kozhikode. This role supports the Retail Trainer and store leadership by delivering product, sales, and service training to store teams across multiple brands. Daily responsibilities include conducting in-store training sessions, coaching staff on customer service best practices, and reinforcing standard operating procedures and visual merchandising guidelines.

Trainer helps assess training needs, prepares training materials and reports, and follows up on performance to ensure consistent service quality and brand experience.



The role requires close collaboration with store managers and the central retail operations team to maintain training schedules and support new store openings or staff onboarding.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Training & Development and Training skills, with experience delivering structured training sessions in a retail or customer-facing environment.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including the ability to present clearly, facilitate discussions, and adapt messaging to different store teams.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Coaching skills, with the ability to model service standards and guide team members toward improved performance.
- Relevant experience in fashion or lifestyle retail, preferably in store operations or training roles.
- Ability to travel to different store locations within the region as needed.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfort using basic digital tools (e.g., MS Office, presentation software, messaging platforms) to prepare and deliver training content.
- Diploma or degree in business, retail management, fashion, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if supported by relevant experience.
