Job Summary

Provide legal and administrative support to the Legal team by assisting with contract management, legal documentation, compliance activities, litigation coordination, legal research, and record maintenance. Ensure timely and accurate handling of legal matters while maintaining confidentiality and supporting organizational compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Record Management and Document Control

- Maintain and ensure the safe custody of original agreements, deeds, and other legal documents.
- Manage and organize legal files, records, litigation documents, and case-related information in both physical and electronic formats.




- Maintain accurate records and registers for incoming and outgoing original documents, including execution copies and related correspondence.

Contract Management

- Review standard agreement templates and legal documentation, and conduct gap analyses to identify potential risks and improvement areas.
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the contract lifecycle management and document management systems.
- Coordinate the execution, storage, retrieval, and tracking of contractual documents.

Legal Database and Compliance Tracking

- Maintain and update digital repositories and tracking tools relating to:
- Litigation matters
- Show Cause Notices
- Trademark registrations and renewals
- Contracts and commercial agreements
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely updating of legal databases and management information systems.

Litigation and Counsel Coordination

- Support the legal team in maintaining litigation records, case status trackers, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including business and finance teams, for the timely processing and payment of external counsel fees and reimbursement of legal expenses.
- Facilitate communication and document exchange with external counsel, regulatory authorities, and internal teams as required.

The Person

Education Qualifications – LLB

Experience: 0-2 years of experience as a lawyers, and at least 5 years of experience in paralegal activities

Skills

Excellent writing and communication skills along with attention to detail

Liaise with internal teams/external parties

Ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management tools.

Strong document management and record-keeping abilities.

Familiarity with contract management systems and legal databases.

Excellent organizational and coordination skills.

Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
