Role Description The Assistant Manager HR role is a full time, on-site position based at Apollo Adlux Hospital in Kerala, India. This role is responsible for supporting end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, induction, and workforce planning for clinical and non-clinical staff.
The Assistant
Manager HR will manage employee life cycle processes such as performance appraisals, employee engagement, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and labor regulations. Daily responsibilities include maintaining HR records and HRIS data,
coordinating training and development initiatives, overseeing payroll inputs and statutory compliances, and supporting policy implementation. The role collaborates closely with department heads and senior management to foster a positive work environment and align HR practices with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in core HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Candidates should possess skills in HR administration and compliance, such as HRIS management, documentation, policy implementation, and knowledge of labor laws.
- Candidates should possess skills in training and development, including organizing learning programs, coordinating workshops, and supporting talent development initiatives.
- Candidates should possess interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Candidates should possess analytical and organizational skills to handle data-driven HR decisions, workforce planning, and process improvement.
- Relevant skills such as conflict resolution, confidentiality in handling sensitive information, and familiarity with healthcare or hospital HR practices are beneficial.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in an HR role, ideally in healthcare or large service organizations.
