Role & responsibilities

Description

- Over 8 years of experience in development and support with core AS/400 technologies, including DB2/400, CL, RPG III/RPG IV/Free Form.

- Extensive expertise in SQL/400, QUERY/400, and other AS/400 utilities.

- Robust knowledge of data extraction based on defined specifications, along with experience in EDI tools and processes

- Experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain domains

- Strong understanding of database technologies such as DDS physical and logical files, SQL files, stored procedures, and complex SQL queries.

- Proficient in advanced ILE concepts, including procedures, service programs, and functions.

- Exposure to AS/400 modernization engagements

- Thorough understanding of application and database performance best practices and tuning techniques.

- Extensive experience in preparing design and estimation documents required for development changes proposed by business users.

- Engage with business stakeholders to resolve queries and prepare technical specification documents.

- Design and develop applications according to specifications, utilizing the provided technical specification document.
