Software Engineer / API & Integration Expert 8–9 YEARS · 1 FTE · BANGALORE

▪Develops, manages and maintains interfaces between ERP, MES, PLM and other business systems

▪Designs, builds and secures APIs for robust, scalable integration (enterprise / industrial segmentation, inter-site industrial bus)

▪Maintains interface documentation; performs updates, testing, validation and troubleshooting of integration flows

▪Drives continuous optimization of integration performance and reliability

▪Ensures compliance with Safran IT standards, security protocols and cyber requirements

Responsibilities

Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer / API & Integration Expert to design, develop, and manage enterprise integrations across business-critical applications including ERP, MES, PLM, and other enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have solid API development expertise, integration architecture knowledge, and experience ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing system interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain APIs and system integrations across ERP, MES, PLM, and enterprise applications.
- Build reliable, secure, and scalable integration solutions using industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain integration architecture and technical documentation.
- Perform interface testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Ensure API security, authentication, authorization,



and compliance with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and application teams to gather integration requirements.
- Monitor integration performance and resolve production issues proactively.
- Support deployment, change management, and release activities.
- Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–9 years of experience in software development and enterprise application integration.
- Strong expertise in REST APIs, web services, and integration frameworks.
- Experience integrating ERP, MES, PLM, and other enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in API development, testing, and documentation.
- Knowledge of integration middleware, messaging platforms, and data transformation.
- Understanding of API security, authentication, and compliance standards.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar integration platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud-native integration patterns and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
