We are seeking Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our Enterprise Projects Team. This role focusses on executing structured testing activities to ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable, and data-accurate systems across enterprise solutions in our India office. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a strong foundation in software testing methodologies and best practices. You are comfortable collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers and stakeholders. What You Will Do
- Ensure all systems and project deliverables meet high standards of quality, reliability, and data accuracy through structured and comprehensive testing practices
- Design and execute end-to-end test strategies to ensure full validation of business processes and system behaviour, including functional, integration, regression, and non-functional testing
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated scripts to support scalable, repeatable, and efficient testing
- Validate data integrity, calculations, and system outputs, ensuring alignment with business rules, requirements, and downstream impacts across enterprise systems
- Identify, assess, and communicate risks, gaps, and potential failure points early in the development lifecycle to support informed and confident release decisions
- Conduct thorough reviews of product specifications and solution designs to proactively identify issues before development and testing
- Manage the defect lifecycle, ensuring issues are clearly documented, prioritized, tracked, and resolved with transparency
- Leverage test automation tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and repeatability
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and standards
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist clients with product validation
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand system requirements
- Design and execute manual functional, integration, and regression test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Perform detailed testing across multiple environments to identify defects and ensure system stability, reliability, and production readiness
- Validate data integrity, calculations, and system outputs to ensure accuracy and alignment with business rules and requirements
- Document and communicate test results, defects, and quality risks for clear visibility and timely resolution
- Participate in release planning and validation activities to ensure all components meet quality standards prior to deployment
- Investigate and replicate production issues through root cause analysis
- Review product specifications and solution designs to identify gaps, edge cases, and potential risks early in the lifecycle
- Monitor application behaviour, performance, and scalability where required
- Review release notes and product documentation for accuracy
- Provide feedback to the development teams to improve system design, testability and overall product quality
- Stay current on the latest software testing tools, trends, and best practices
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with remote team members and leads based in Vancouver, BC, ensuring clear alignment on requirements, testing progress, and quality outcomes
What You Bring
- 2+ years of proven experience in a Software Quality Assurance roles within an enterprise environment
- Proven ability to design and execute test plans, test cases, and end-to-end test scenarios
- Strong experience with manual testing, including functional, integration, and regression testing
- Solid understanding of software testing tools, methodologies, processes, and best practices
- Experience using test management and defect tracking systems (JIRA, Azure DevOps)
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- A curious mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks (Playwright, Jenkins)
- Experience with SQL and database validation techniques
- Experience with version control and collaboration tools (Git, Azure DevOps)
