Job Summary The PACCAR India accounting team is searching for an Analyst – Finance. As an analyst you will support DAF Trucks NV Finance & Control department (in the Netherlands) with accounting and contract management activities.

This role is designed for an experienced accounting professional with strong European accounting knowledge or broad general accounting expertise, combined with hands-on experience in RVG Contract Management. The position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial processing, contract administration, and General Ledger operations while supporting operational excellence within the division.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

- Perform General Ledger (GL) accounting activities, including:
- Master data maintenance and processing.
- Matching and recording bank transactions.
- Account reconciliations and financial data validation.
- Other transactional accounting activities as assigned

- Manage RVG Accounting and Contract Management activities, including:

- Verification of contract details and supporting documentation.
- Recording and maintenance of contracts in the RVG SAP system.
- Reviewing contracts and proposing appropriate accounting entries
- Preparing files for signature by the DAF Trucks CFO.

- Perform back-up for other outsourced activities from the DAF Trucks Finance & Control department, such as tooling invoice reviews and registering/verifying correctness of received transport invoices.





Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management is a plus.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA, or equivalent) is a plus

Knowledge & Skills REQUIRED:

- 1 – 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards or solid general accounting experience (preferably European Accounting Standards)
- Hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting, including Account reconciliations, Bank transaction processing and matching, Journal entries and Master data maintenance
- Good understanding of General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, and banking transactions
- Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Microsoft Office tools, including outlook and excel
