Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager Electronics R&D; with strong hands-on experience in industrial electronics, electrical/electronic design, drive systems, sensors, actuators and machine automation.

The candidate will be responsible for the development and design of electronic/electrical systems for industrial machinery, preparation of BOMs and EPLAN drawings, and handling machine schematics and technical documentation.

Assistant Manager Electronics R&D;

Location: Pune / Maharashtra

Experience: 12 to 15 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech Industrial Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Instrumentation / Mechatronics

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement applications using drive systems.
- Work with sensors, actuators and electronic components used in industrial machines.
- Perform electrical/electronic design and engineering calculations.
- Prepare, maintain and manage Bill of Materials (BOM), including engineering changes.
- Prepare and modify EPLAN electrical drawings/schematics.
- Prepare electrical/electronic machine schematics, manuals and technical documentation.
- Support machine electrical/electronic design, integration and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for design changes and engineering requirements.
- Support problem-solving and technical improvements related to machine electronics and controls.

Key Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech in Industrial Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
- 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in industrial electronics, machine automation, electrical/electronic design or related engineering.
- Ready to relocate to Shirwal location




- Strong hands-on experience with EPLAN / EPLAN Electric P8 is essential.
- Positive knowledge of electronic components, sensors, actuators and drive systems.
- Experience in electrical/electronic machine design and electrical schematics.
- Good knowledge of BOM preparation and SAP BOM.
- Basic understanding of Structured Text (ST) / PLC programming will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and Macros/VBA.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
- Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates from industrial automation, machine manufacturing, SPM, textile machinery, furnace/heat-treatment equipment, robotics, material handling, packaging machinery and other industrial equipment companies will be preferred.

Note: Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in EPLAN and machine-level electrical/electronic design, rather than only PCB/embedded electronics experience.
