We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Assistant Manager Client Service Delivery Operations – AIF. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai-Andheri, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our AIF Trustee and its’ growth.
Key responsibilities:
1. Operations & Fund Management
- Manage PAN/TAN applications, tax filings (TDS, ITR, Form 64/64D, 15CA) and regulatory registrations
- Maintain fund documentation (IMA, Trust Deed, PPM, etc.) and client database
- Process transactions including demat conversion, transfer of units/shares, and onboarding
- Monitor fund lifecycle including tenure, AUM reporting, and winding-up activities
- Prepare closure memos, partial release letters, and support execution documentation
- Handle client queries and coordinate with stakeholders (IMs, custodians, internal teams)
- Support automation initiatives and MIS reporting
2. Compliance & Monitoring
- Review QCRs, CTRs, PPM, audit reports, financials, and Trustee Compliance Reports
- Raise queries with Investment Managers (IMs) and track closure of observations
- Identify breaches, issue letters, and monitor corrective actions
- Maintain and track watchlist and SCN cases; coordinate with Legal and Compliance teams
- Prepare monthly/quarterly compliance reports and track regulatory timelines
- Ensure adherence to regulations prescribed by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), IFSCA
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and assist in handling client queries.
Key requirements:
- CA / CS / CFA / LLB preferred, Inter CA or MBA having reasonable accounting background
- Strong understanding of AIF regulations prescribed by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and familiarity with International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) regulations
- Working knowledge of fund lifecycle, tax filings, and regulatory reporting (including offshore structures/GIFT City exposure preferred)
- Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic setting
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
- Excel, Word, Power point and Writing & Presentation skills
