AI/ML Data Engineer & Power BI Developer

Location: India(remote with possible relocation to Europe post successful tenure in India ) |Experience: 6–7 years |

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced AI/ML Data Engineer & Power BI Developer to join our data team. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, business intelligence reporting, and applied machine learning — you will design and maintain robust data pipelines, build insightful Power BI reports and dashboards, and help operationalize machine learning and AI capabilities (including OpenAI-based solutions) into production workflows.

This is a full-time position based in Europe; candidates must be open to relocating.

Key Responsibilities• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows to support analytics and reporting needs.

- Develop, optimize, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards,



and data models for business stakeholders.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code for data processing, automation, and machine learning workflows.
- Support the full machine learning lifecycle — from data preparation and model development through deployment and monitoring (MLOps).
- Integrate and operationalize AI capabilities, including OpenAI APIs and other cloud-based AI/ML services, into business applications.
- Deploy, manage, and monitor data and ML workloads on Azure cloud platforms with T- SQL.
- Maintain version control and collaborative development practices using GitHub.
- Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams to translate reporting and data requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across pipelines and reporting layers.
- Document technical designs, pipeline architecture, and reporting logic for maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Experience• 6–7+ years of overall experience in data engineering, BI development, and/or applied machine learning roles.

- Strong hands-on experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI, including data modeling (DAX) and performance optimization.
- Solid programming skills in Python for data engineering, automation, and ML workflows and T- SQL.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and data engineering processes at scale.
- Practical exposure to machine learning concepts and MLOps practices (model deployment, monitoring,



versioning).
- Experience working with OpenAI or similar large language model / generative AI APIs in applied projects.
- Working knowledge of Azure cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) for data and ML workloads.
- Proficient with Git/GitHub for source control and collaborative development.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy and quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to relocate to Europe.

Nice to Have• Experience with additional BI/reporting tools alongside Power BI.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data and ML deployments.
- Exposure to data warehousing and modern data platform architectures.
- Relevant certifications in Azure cloud platforms, Power BI, or machine learning.
