Role Description The Admission Counsellor – Pune is a full-time remote role responsible for guiding prospective learners through the admission process for IIEIM programs. Day-to-day tasks include responding to inquiries via calls, emails, and online channels, providing accurate information about courses, fees, schedules, and career outcomes, and conducting online counselling sessions to understand candidate goals. The role involves following up with leads, supporting applicants with documentation and enrollment, and maintaining updated records in admission and CRM systems.

The Admission





Counsellor collaborates with the academic and marketing teams to align counselling with current offerings and campaigns, and contributes to achieving admission and conversion targets while ensuring a professional, learner-centric experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills for counselling, follow-up, and coordination.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide supportive, timely, and accurate assistance to prospective learners.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage leads, explain program value, and support admission conversions ethically and transparently.
- Candidates should possess an interest or background in Education to understand training programs and advise learners on suitable options.
- Relevant experience in counselling, inside sales, or education admissions is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple inquiries, and meet defined targets.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, online communication tools, and CRM or admission management systems is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred; equivalent experience in a related field will also be considered.
