Role Description The Accounts Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai, with immediate joining required within 7 days. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, including processing invoices, maintaining ledgers, handling petty cash, and assisting with bank reconciliations.

The Accounts

Assistant will support credit control activities by tracking outstanding payments, following up with clients, and updating records. The position also includes preparing basic financial reports, coordinating with internal teams for documentation, and ensuring accurate and timely data entry in accounting systems.



The individual will work closely with the finance and operations teams to support smooth financial processes within the organization.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance skills, including familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial record-keeping.
- Candidates should possess experience with Credit Control activities, such as monitoring receivables and following up on outstanding payments.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of handling Petty Cash, including maintenance of petty cash vouchers and reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
- Candidates should ideally have proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Candidates should have strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work to deadlines.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or a similar industry will be an advantage.
