About the Role

Hoot at Sight is looking for an experienced Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, project-related financial activities, billing, vendor coordination, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting, including sales/purchase entries, invoices, expenses, receipts, and payments.
- Manage client billing, collections, vendor payments, and account reconciliations.
- Maintain project-wise accounts, expenses, budgets, and payment tracking.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal project teams for billing and payment-related matters.
- Manage and assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare MIS reports, cash-flow statements, and regular financial reports for management.
- Handle receivables and payables and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Support month-end closing,



audits, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate documentation of invoices, purchase orders, bills, expenses, and payment records.
- Identify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution of accounting-related issues.

Requirements

- 3–4 years of experience in accounting, preferably with an interior design, architecture, construction, or project-based firm.
- Strong knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, GST, and TDS.
- Positive understanding of project accounting and vendor/client management.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to independently manage multiple accounting activities and meet deadlines.
