Role Description The Home Tutor role at Enlightening Academy is a full time, on-site position based in Chennai, supporting students in nearby residential locations.



The tutor will plan and deliver personalized lessons aligned with CBSE and Matriculation curricula, and, where applicable, foundational concepts for NEET and JEE preparation. Daily responsibilities include assessing student learning needs, explaining concepts clearly, providing practice work, and conducting regular reviews and tests to track progress. The tutor will maintain consistent communication with parents and the academy, prepare simple reports on student performance, and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual learning styles. The role also involves upholding the academy’s standards for academic quality, punctuality, and professional conduct.
Qualifications

Strong subject knowledge in core school subjects (Maths, Science, English) for CBSE and Matriculation; familiarity with NEET/JEE foundational topics is an advantage.
Demonstrated teaching or tutoring experience, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt methods to different learning level
