nThe Lead of Data Science will be an operational leader responsible for building and scaling
nenterprise-wide data science and AI capabilities. The role will act as a bridge between
nmanufacturing operations and advanced analytics, driving measurable business outcomes
nsuch as cost optimization, productivity improvement, predictive maintenance, supply chain
nefficiency, and digital transformation.
n

nThis position will lead the Data Science part of AI & Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE) and
nanchor transformation toward Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, and data-driven decisionmaking.
n

n Own enterprise data science and AI strategy
n Drive adoption of analytics across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and
ncommercial functions




n Deliver quantifiable ROI (cost savings, uptime, yield improvement, working capital
noptimization)
nManufacturing analytics plays a critical role in optimizing production, reducing downtime,
nimproving quality, and enabling data-driven decisions across operations
n

nThe role encompasses three core mandates –
n1. Strategic Leadership
na. Define data science roadmap aligned with business strategy
nb. Identify high-impact use cases (predictive maintenance, quality analytics,
ndemand forecasting)
n2. Operational Execution
na. Deliver AI/ML solutions embedded in manufacturing processes & other business
nfunctions
nb. Oversee model lifecycle (development, deployment, monitoring)
n3. Organizational Capability Building
na. Build and scale a high-performing team
nb. Institutionalize data governance, platforms, and AI culture
