Automation Engineer / Developer
We are seeking someone to join the Insider Risk Management Technology team in the Cyber department as an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and support automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort across the organisation. The role will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to analyse processes, implement automations using UiPath and related technologies, and support the delivery of scalable and compliant solutions.

This is a Cyber Security Engineering position responsible for developing and supporting automation solutions that improve operational effectiveness while ensuring compliance with firm standards, security requirements, and SDLC practices.

What You'll Do in the Role
- Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using UiPath and supporting technologies.




- Work with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Participate in the full SDLC, including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, process documentation, and support artefacts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting automation solutions in development and production environments.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, helping streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
- Follow engineering standards, governance controls, and best practices to deliver reliable and supportable solutions.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and operations teams to implement scalable automation solutions.
