nAbout the Role:
nWe are seeking a highly skilled Lead SDET Engineer to support GRhombus’s clients across multiple engagements and domains. This role is fully hands-on and central to our Quality Engineering services, driving excellence in automation, DevSecOps integration, and engineering-led testing.
nThe ideal candidate will lead automation initiatives, collaborate directly with client stakeholders, and help shape quality strategies aligned with business outcomes.
nKey Responsibilities:
nClient Consulting & Delivery Excellence

- Engage closely with client product owners, architects, business teams, and engineering leadersn
- Understand client priorities, constraints, and technical landscapesn
- Design and present automation strategies, frameworks, and transformation roadmapsn
- Ensure solutions meet client needs, SLAs, and delivery commitmentsn

nAutomation Framework Development

- Build, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testingn
- Work with tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, and Fiddlern
- Implement BDD using Gherkin syntax aligned with client delivery modelsn
- Design reusable libraries and automation componentsn

nHands-On Engineering Contribution

- Develop high-quality automation scripts using TypeScript, Python, C#, and Node.jsn
- Drive in-sprint automation for rapid deliveryn
- Support multiple client teams across engagementsn
- Apply engineering best practices and coding standardsn

nDevSecOps & Quality Pipeline Ownership

- Integrate automation suites within CI/CD pipelinesn
- Work with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and SonarQuben
- Support continuous testing and automated validationsn
- Promote shift-left testing and real-time feedback mechanismsn
