Role Description:-
The Training & Placement Officer (School of Media Communication & Design) is a full-time, on-site role based at the IMS Unison University campus in Dehradun. The role involves designing and implementing training programs to enhance students’ employability, including soft skills, professional etiquette, and industry readiness workshops. The officer will coordinate campus placement activities, engage with media, communication,



and design industry recruiters, and build long-term relationships with organizations for internships and final placements. Daily responsibilities include counseling students on career paths, maintaining placement records, organizing pre-placement talks, industry interactions, and alumni engagement. The officer will also monitor placement outcomes, prepare reports, and contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen the school’s industry interface and student success.

Qualifications:-
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Management, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Human Resources, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Placements at University/ College Level.
Candidates should possess robust skills in Campus Placement and College Recruiting, including employer outreach, placement coordination, and managing recruitment processes.
