Job Summary

The Credit Manager will be responsible for overseeing the credit assessment and risk management processes for the Ramachandrapuram branch, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Manage and lead a team of credit analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Develop, implement, and monitor credit policies and procedures to minimize credit risk while supporting business growth.
Conduct thorough credit analysis of loan applications, including financial statement analysis, cash flow projections, and collateral valuation.
Assess the creditworthiness of potential and existing customers, making informed decisions on loan approvals, denials, and terms.
Monitor portfolio performance, identify early warning signs of credit deterioration, and implement corrective actions.
Prepare and present credit reports and recommendations to senior management and credit committees.
Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations, internal policies, and credit guidelines.
Liaise with sales, operations,



and legal departments to facilitate smooth credit operations and resolve credit-related issues.
Negotiate and structure complex credit facilities and repayment plans.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting credit risk management.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., FRM, CFA) preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in credit management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the banking or financial services sector.
Solid understanding of credit principles, financial analysis, risk assessment, and lending products.
Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and make sound credit decisions.
