We build an autonomous, solar-powered helipad weather reporting system for defence aviation. Sensor to PCB to firmware to radio link to server to the mast it stands on. It has to run unattended for months in places nobody visits.

We are five people. One of them designs, fabricates, codes and commissions the whole product himself. This role exists to build the engineering team around him — which means you will learn the entire system from the person who built it, and then own a piece of it.

What you need to have
IoT systems · RF and wireless · networking and network setup · Linux and server management · electronics fundamentals and hands-on debugging · C/C++ and Python. Not all six at expert level — three at working depth, honestly described, and the appetite to learn the rest here.

What matters more than your marks
Things you have actually built. College, hobby, internship or freelance electronics and robotics projects, with photographs, video, a repository or a working prototype. We will ask what broke and how you fixed it.

What you will own




From month three: the RF and data link and the ground-station software, end to end — including being the person on the phone when it fails at a customer site. At around month four you commission a unit on your own, on site. Explicit that and your first salary review is brought forward and uncapped.

Terms
Hyderabad base. First two months at Gandhinagar, Gujarat on a live deployment — stay and travel paid by us, plus a deployment allowance paid fortnightly in advance. Fixed salary, no variable component. ₹5 lakh family medical cover including your parents. Written salary review at 12 months with a committed minimum increase. Annual tools budget.

Not for you if you want a large structured corporate environment or a defined ticket queue. We would rather say that now.
