Role Description The Civil AutoCAD Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This role involves preparing detailed civil engineering drawings and layouts using AutoCAD for building, renovation, and restoration projects. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting architectural and structural designs, creating accurate 2D/3D drawings, and updating plans based on engineering and site feedback. The designer will coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, and contractors to ensure drawings meet technical standards and local regulations.



Additional responsibilities include maintaining drawing documentation, supporting quantity estimation, and contributing to design improvements that enhance project quality and efficiency.
Qualifications

Proficiency in AutoCAD and related civil design tools, with the ability to produce accurate 2D/3D drawings and layouts.
Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts, building components, and construction methods relevant to renovation and restoration projects.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, and translate them into clear, coordinated CAD plans.
Attention to detail in drafting, dimensioning, and checking drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, site teams, and contractors on design and drawing issues.
