About the Role
Chore runs the back office for early-stage US venture-backed startups. HR, payroll, bookkeeping, compliance, equity admin. Our clients are founders who are tired of doing admin at 11pm.
We are hiring a part-time SDR to make sure no lead we get ever goes quiet again.
The Details
20 hours per week
Remote, anywhere, as long as you can work US hours
Ideally 8am to 3pm EST
Contract, monthly retainer plus performance bonus
The role in one line
Every lead that enters our system gets contacted, qualified, and either books a demo or gets closed out with a reason.
You have one number to focus on: qualified demos held.
This is not cold calling. Almost everyone you contact has already raised a hand, downloaded something, replied to us, or come through a referral. The problem is follow-through, not lead volume.
What you will do here
Clear the backlog first. We have a large list of leads that came in and were never properly worked. Contact each one, get them onto a call or close them out with a reason. Some will be dead. Some will not be. Finding out which is the point.
Respond to every current lead, fast. Leads come from paid ads, resource downloads, website forms, email nurture and referrals. You will contact each one quickly, using the approach that fits where they came from. A referral does not get the same email as a content download.
