Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time hybrid position based in Kolkata, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including ledger maintenance, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations for group entities. The Senior Accountant will prepare financial statements, assist with budgeting and forecasting, monitor cash flow, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. The role includes reviewing and improving internal controls,



coordinating with auditors, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The Senior Accountant will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support management decision-making.
Qualifications

Solid knowledge of general accounting principles, ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
Experience with taxation, statutory compliance, and coordination with external auditors.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to interpret financial data for management reporting.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams across multiple group companies.
