Position : Network security Engineer(Palo Alto & Forcepoint)

Job Description :
Monitor firewall health, sessions, system resources, HA status, interfaces, and logs (Panorama & device level). · Review Threat/Traffic/URL logs, Wild Fire submissions, and correlated events; tune policies to reduce false positives..
· Implement policy changes (App-ID/URL filtering/User-ID), NAT, security profiles, decryption policies, and objects.
· Manage request workflows for site recategorization, whitelisting/blacklisting, and policy changes · Manage change requests (CRQs) with risk/impact analysis, rollback plans, and documented test/validation steps.
· Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve L2/L3 incidents (connectivity issues, asymmetric routing, session drops, policy hits/misses).
· Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and create Problem Records for recurring issues; drive corrective actions · Plan and execute PAN-OS upgrades/hotfixes,



content updates (Applications & Threats), and Global Protect agent updates.
· Plan and execute upgrades/hotfixes, category database updates, certificate renewals, license/tenant management
· Validate post-change health (data plane, control plane, session tables, routing adjacencies) · Enforce security profiles (AV/Anti-Spyware/Vulnerability/Wildfire/URL Filtering), SSL decryption best practices.
· Periodic ruleset hygiene (rule recertification, shadowed/unused rules clean-up, object deduplication).
· Work with Network, SOC, VAPT, and App teams for exceptions, segmentation, and remediation. · Vendor TAC engagement (Palo Alto) for complex issues and bug triage
· Robust understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, TLS/SSL, SNI, PAC/WPAD, DNS, and certificate workflows
