Respond to cyber attacks in real time
As Security Architect, you'll engage in critical network and attack-related events for Akamai's managed security customers. Help identify real time cyber-attacks, strategize & deploy mitigations while neutralizing adverse impact to the end users.
As a Security Architect , you will be responsible for:
- Devising and engaging mitigation strategies to prevent real time attacks,
using Akamai products & platform
- Performing advanced analysis to identify attacks and threats to customer's digital properties and/or their business network
- Communicating with customers regarding challenges and providing updates and results on your mitigation and analysis
- Innovating around tooling development & product enhancement.
- Being a positive advocate to customer centricity during day-to-day operations & incidents
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 3 years relevant industry experience on primarily networking OR Akamai Platform OR Web application Security. Excellent in Customer facing Role.
- Have an in-depth understanding of networking fundamentals; Basic networking, TCP, IP, UDP.
- Demonstrate knowledge of how the internet works, including, DNS. HTTP, Suite of IP Protocols
- Understand OWASP Top 10 and their relation to internet service compromises and attacks.
