What you
will do for Sectona
As an Account Manager (North), you will strengthen customer coverage, develop accounts, pipeline
generation, and revenue growth across the North India market. This role is intended to complement the Regional Manager
by increasing account coverage and sales execution capacity and will focus on
developing assigned accounts, identifying current opportunities, nurturing
relationships, and driving opportunities through the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new enterprise accounts
across BFSI, NBFCs,
Government/PSUs, IT/ITES, data centers, and large
enterprises etc.
- Build relationships with CISOs, CIOs,
IT/Security Heads, IAM teams,
and key decision-makers.
- Generate, qualify, and manage sales
opportunities through the
complete sales cycle.
- Develop account plans and identify upsell,
cross-sell, expansion,
and new deployment opportunities.
- Follow up on leads from events, webinars,
conferences,
and marketing campaigns to generate qualified opportunities.
- Develop and manage channel/SI partnerships to
drive joint opportunities
and pipeline.
- Coordinate customer meetings, workshops,
webinars, demos, POCs,
proposals, and commercial discussions with internal
teams.
- Work closely with the Regional Manager and
Sales Engineering team
to progress strategic and high-value opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline updates,
forecasts,
and opportunity tracking.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and
consistently build a healthy pipeline
across the territory.
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3-7 years of overall
experience in B2B Sales
- Bachelor's degree;
MBA/technical qualification is an advantage.
- Should have experience in a
customer facing role.
- Enterprise consultative
selling + solution selling.
- SI, VAR, distributor and
partner-led sales.
- Willingness to travel
extensively across the region.
- Strong negotiation,
presentation, and communication skills.
