Job Title: QA Performance Automation Engineer
The Prospect:
Hitachi Energy is looking for a QA Performance Automation Engineer to join our dynamic Enterprise Software R&D; team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications through comprehensive performance testing and analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, DevOps, Product Management, and Architecture teams to identify performance bottlenecks, validate system behavior under load, and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions to customers. As a QA Performance Automation Engineer for the Enterprise Software R&D; Unit, you will be part of the respective local department and report to the R&D; Team Manager.




How You'll Make an Impact:
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
- Analyze application performance under various load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability scenarios.
- Create and execute API performance tests using Postman and integrate them into performance test workflows.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Grafana and other monitoring tools.
- Identify performance bottlenecks across applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams to diagnose and resolve performance-related issues.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations for system optimization.
- Prepare detailed performance test reports with findings, trends, risks, and recommendations.
