About the Role
PATH is supporting the Government of Andhra Pradesh as a technical assistance partner to strengthen the state's digital health systems, from the Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS) already running across facilities to their integration with India's national digital health architecture under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). As Program Officer, you will lead the technical work that makes that integration real: enabling HMIS and other digital health solutions to meet national standards, guiding healthcare facilities and technology partners through onboarding,



and troubleshooting the issues that come with connecting complex health IT systems. You will work closely with the state health department, IT vendors, and other stakeholders to keep deployment and operationalization of key digital health modules on track.

Responsibilities

System Integration & Technical Support
• Lead the integration of HMIS and other digital health solutions with the national digital health architecture, coordinating with the National Health Authority (NHA), state health department, digital solution providers, and healthcare institutions.
• Provide hands-on, on-ground technical support to healthcare facilities (public and private) for onboarding and implementation.
• Support facilities and IT vendors with system integration, API testing, and troubleshooting — covering ABHA generation, HFR/HPR entries, and broader interoperability across HMIS and national digital health systems.
