About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Architect to lead the design and evolution of our core Java-based enterprise applications. You will be responsible for defining high-level system architecture, driving technical strategy, and designing robust database schemas (with heavy emphasis on Data Definition Language / DDL expertise) to support scalable, high-throughput platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Define, design, and implement complex enterprise architectures using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.

Lead database architecture and data modeling, writing and reviewing extensive DDL (Data Definition Language) scripts to manage schema evolution, indexing, and performance.

Drive High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for highly available, fault-tolerant distributed systems.

Establish coding standards, architecture governance, and CI/CD best practices across engineering squads.

Mentor senior developers, conduct rigorous code and architecture reviews, and resolve critical production bottlenecks.

Collaborate closely with product management to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

9+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in an Architectural or Technical Lead capacity.

Expert-level proficiency in Java (8-17+), JVM internals, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.

Deep expertise in relational database design (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) with strong, demonstrable experience in DDL, complex data modeling, and database refactoring.

Proven track record of designing and scaling microservices and distributed systems.

Willingness to relocate to or work on-site from our Goa office (100% Work From Office).

Good-to-Have Skills:
