About the Role

This is the second of two roles backfilling a departing senior Microsoft expert who is transitioning into a current internal role.

/n

This position focuses on security configuration within Microsoft 365 , including identity, access, endpoint, and compliance controls. The role also carries security monitoring and compliance responsibilities as part of the departing expert's backfill scope.

Responsibilities

/n
- Administer Microsoft 365 security workloads , including Entra ID, Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Intune, and Purview.
/n
- Support identity and access hardening across the tenant.
/n
- Monitor endpoint and identity security using Microsoft tooling, including Defender, Entra ID, and Sentinel , and respond to alerts.
/n
- Support tenant-to-tenant migration and consolidation , including provisioning for acquired employees and security hardening during the integration.




/n
- Collect and organize audit evidence from delivery systems and support compliance reporting.
/n
- Support vendor risk management reviews and security assessments .

Qualifications

/n

/n
- Minimum 6 years of Microsoft 365 security administration experience ; 10 years strongly preferred .
/n
- Deep, demonstrated expertise in Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender for Office 365, Intune, and Purview , or equivalent Microsoft 365 security tooling.
/n
- Strong information security fundamentals and hands-on experience in a Microsoft 365 or Azure security environment.
/n
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks , with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 experience helpful.
/n
- Tenant-to-tenant migration experience is a plus.
