? Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled xIL Modeling and Integration Engineer with strong expertise in model-based development and simulation within the automotive domain. The role focuses on plant modeling, powertrain system simulation, and integration with HIL environments.
1. Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other suitable degree related to Engineering from an accredited university
2. Experience in the electronics, hardware, automotive industry
3. Experience with plant and controller modeling, simulation, development and testing
4. Experience in Model Based Development on any Powertrain Application, preferred Matlab-Simulink/Stateflow/SimScape
5. Knowledge and experience with Powertrain, EE, electric and hybrid systems
6.
Demonstrated Hardware- In-the-Loop systems experience (dSPACE, ETAS, NI HIL systems)
7. Experience with C/C++ code generation
8. Knowledge of Simulation Tool (Ex: ASM)
9. Experience with 1-D physical modeling tools such as GT Power, AMESim and co-simulation tools
10. Experience with model-based development tools using m-script
11. Outstanding interpersonal and problem solving skills
12. Strong ability to work directly with individuals and groups
13. Robust communication skills, both verbal and written
14. Self-starter who can work cross-functionally with other people
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master of Science degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
2. Working experience of Model Development
3. Basic knowledge of vehicle dynamics and specific simulation software
4. Knowledge of Vehicle Systems Components
5. Experience of working within an AGIL
