About the Team
The Monetization Platforms department is one of the strategic units within Corporate IT and is responsible for Design, development & management of Billing, Licensing and Subscription Solutions as three central services across the ZEISS Group worldwide.
Your Role
As a Software Engineer (Global Role) with 2-7 years,



you are responsible for the Client development using C++ for Licensing platform at Zeiss.
Your key responsibilities:
Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable):
Several years of hands-on experience in modern C++ development (e.g. and above) in a qualified software product environment
Proven track record in library / SDK development for external consumers (e.g. product teams or external customers), including API design, versioning, and backward compatibility
Strong experience developing and troubleshooting C++ libraries on Windows and Linux (toolchains, compilers, runtime specifics)
Experience integrating native C++ libraries into larger application landscapes (desktop applications, services, tools)
Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and robustness (clean architecture, defensive programming, clear interfaces)
Experience working in agile development teams (Scrum/Kanban), using Git-based workflows and peer reviews
